One day, long before paper piecing became popular, Carolyn Cullinan McCormick was left feeling frustrated with the time it took to mark and cut out each individual piece, that she designed a ruler to allow her to rotary cut multiple pieces at one time.
After discovering that there was no similar product on the market, the Add-A-Quarter™ ruler was born.
