OUR MARKETING APPROACH

EQS is a marketing-led distributor of products for patchwork, quilting, needlework and specialist crafts. We see our role is to work in partnership with our various suppliers to generate an awareness at both retail and consumer level for what we offer.

• We market quality products at prices commensurate with the quality on offer.
• We combat low-cost competitors through a programme of active and imaginative marketing.
• We offer occasional and short-term promotions to focus attention on a product or range.
• Where possible we try to avoid conflict between two competing products.
• We only take on similar products where they satisfy a different need for the consumer.
• We market products under the manufacturer's name and do not try to hide where they come from.
• Our marketing is designed to bring consumers into our customers' shops; we do not supply consumers direct.
• We maintain close links with all the major consumer craft magazines to obtain exposure for all our products and activities
