Michael Miller Memories is a range of fabric that thinks it is paper.
Using a propriety finish, Michael Miller have converted a wide range of their most popular fabrics into Memories. The result is it acts like a fabric: it can be stitched, cut, embroidered and glued. At the same time, it can be folded, stuck, punched, glued and cut without fraying, just like paper. An added feature is that when heated by a normal domestic iron, it can be moulded to shape; when it cools it regains the stiffness of before. This makes it ideal for creating petals, corsage and dimensional embellishment for a wide variety of crafts.
The range comes in packs of seven coordinated fabrics, each in one piece 12" (30 cm) square and one 5"x7" (12.75 x 17.75 cm) for a total of 14 pieces. There are forty different packs on offer from retro to contemporary. The suggested retail price for a pack is £19.99 but it may be possible to buy the sheets individually from some shops.
