Operations Director
Elizabeth has a natural interest in all textile crafts and has an extensive background in administration at a senior level within a number of major companies. As a result, she has made a major contribution to the development of the EQS range and our administrative systems. She is currently responsible for buying, warehousing and despatch, and customer services. Her in-depth knowledge of the company's operations and products - how they work, how to sell them and what's new - makes her an invaluable source of advice for our customers. Elizabeth is a co-owner of the business.

Douglas Allan
Advisor
As a non-executive director, Douglas brings to the board an independent perspective and the discipline of a more formal governance process. Now retired from his full time career, Douglas has worked in the craft industry for many years and was previously a Deputy Divisional Managing Director within a major international industry player. In addition to his expertise in the development of strategy, and sales and marketing, the company derives considerable benefit from Douglas's extensive industry knowledge and network of contacts.

Jim McRae

Jim has a broad background that encompasses selling and marketing and experience in supply chain management and all aspects of customer service. For the last ten years he has represented a small number of principals in the craft sector in both textiles and paper crafts. Now a member of the EQS team, over the last three years Jim has been providing expert support to our customers in Scotland, Ireland and the North of England where he is a well-known figure.

Graeme Wright
Managing and Sales & Marketing Director
With a professional background in both general management and marketing, Graeme provides the company's distinctive marketing focus and has a high profile within the industry, being the only non-US member of the Advisory Council for Quilts Inc, Houston, Texas. Previously he was a director and general manager of several subsidiaries of Coats Viyella plc where he was involved in a number of international marketing groups. More recently, through his extensive knowledge and media contacts within the UK market, he has been able to provide our suppliers with valuable advice and practical support for the promotion of their products in the UK. Graeme is a co-owner of EQS.

Jim Counsell
Finance Director
Jim is a Chartered Accountant, the UK equivalent of a CPA, with wide experience of financial management. His experience includes 11 years with Deloitte and 14 years in a variety of senior roles in companies both large and small. Jim's involvement has ensured that EQS has a thoroughly professional in-house finance function providing management with high quality information and ensuring, through positive relations with our bank, that the company is soundly financed.

Andrew Heaton
Sales Manager
Andrew started his career in retail management before moving into a sales role within the UK quilting industry, of which he now has seventeen years of experience, fifteen of them as a fabric specialist. He therefore has an excellent appreciation of the retailer's perspective, combined with in-depth product knowledge. As our national sales manager, he is presently tasked with ensuring that our retail customers obtain the maximum benefit possible from the specialist knowledge and skills of each member of our sales team.
